Baking has always been about conscience for the founders of Gingerbread Folk. In 2000, leaving corporate life behind for an 18-month adventure through the Australian outback, they returned inspired to start business - a business with purpose beyond profit.
Gingerbread Folk avoids plastic, using unique compostable film, runs on Green Power and rooftop solar, and is a vegan producer - caring for both planet and creatures.
They also partner with charities to bring the joy of gingerbread house-making to communities who might not otherwise be able to participate.
Where this journey will take them next is unknown - but one
thing is certain: Gingerbread Folk remains committed to living
responsibly, ethically, and with kindness.
